and Recovery Services located in Topeka Kansas. Safe Streets was founded in the fall
of 1995 with the mission of creating a healthier community
by addressing substance abuse and crime through prevention

through several ongoing efforts. From setting up neighborhood
watch groups, addressing underage substance use, encouraging community mobilization and forming the Safe

National Night Out Against Crime - August 10
National Night Out Against Crime is quickly approaching! On Saturday, August 10, neighborhoods throughout Shawnee County will take a stand against crime by joining together for celebrations, events and socials. There is still time for neighborhoods to register their events!
