Citizens Patrol

Citizens Patrol is an organized effort of the Topeka Police Department and Safe Streets to provide a visible presence on the streets as a deterrent to criminal activity. Citizens patrols are community members that have received training on observing, recording, and reporting suspicious criminal activity in neighborhoods. These individuals take these tools into their community to improve neighborhoods in the city of Topeka.
